The Internet is a virtual treasure trove of information. The ‘search engines’ on the Internet can help you to find data on any subject that you need. It may range from government laws & services, trade fairs & conferences, market information, new ideas for technical support, etc.

Many services are now provided on the Internet such as Online Banking, Job search & applications, Online reservations for movies, Railways & airlines.
- Buy or Sell products.
You can buy & sell products all over the world through the Internet (online shopping ; ebay etc.).
- Communities.
Communities is a great forum on the Internet to meet up people with similar interests & discuss common issues (youtube etc.).
- Online Chat.
The users can log on to certain websites & communicate with various other users online through the Internet chat software (Whatsapp Web etc.).
- Downloading Data.
Getting the data from the host computer (server) to the client computer (user’s computer) is known as downloading. You can download innumerable music, videos, movies, software, etc.
- Uploading Data.
Copying the data from the client computer to server is known as uploading. You can send some photographs, article, files, etc.
- Online Backup.
You can store all your files online using the online backup system providers (Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.)
